Is there any cost for me to use Spark1-2-1?

No. The app is free to download and use. Send and receive as many messages as you like.

What devices work with Spark1-2-1?

Spark1-2-1 is currently available for all iPhone and Android devices.

How do I add a Merchant ID?

Simply tap the “+” icon at the top right of your contacts list and enter the Merchant’s ID into the space provided, tap” Add” and that Merchant is added to the device..

Does Spark1-2-1 use my cell number?

No. That’s one of the great features of Spark1-2-1. When you first download the Spark1-2-1 app to your phone, you will create your own user ID, which can be any username you wish. Spark1-2-1 does not access any personal information, such as contact list, from your device. You have the ability to share your personal information with a Merchant if you so desire and they can associate that to your User ID.

Does Spark1-2-1 share any of my personal data?

No. Spark1-2-1 does not access any information contained on your device.

Can one of my Merchants send me a message?

Yes. When you add a Merchant ID to your Merchant, at that point that Merchant can send you a message.

Can a Merchant contact me if I have not added them to my contact list?

No.

Will I get Push Messages?

Yes. Spark1-2-1 has the ability to send you “Push” messages.   If you do not wish to receive “Push” Messages from a particular Merchant simply let them know via text or can easily remove the Merchant from your contacts.

Can I remove a Merchant from my contact list?

Absolutely. While on the Merchant’s page, slide the menu open and click “delete”.

Why do the “Special Offers” keep changing from my Merchants?

Merchants can change their Specials at any time. Be sure to take advantage of them!

What do I do if I forget my password?

Because Spark1-2-1 is anonymous, there is no personal information collected for your User ID. If you’ve forgotten your password, you’ll need to delete the app from your phone, download it again and create a new, different User ID. Tap the Spark1-2-1 contact and send us a “forgot password” message with your old User ID and we’ll get you reset.
